The Domain de Font Alba is situated in Provence in the heart of the Luberon regional park between the city of Apt and the village of Rustrel.
An exceptional terroir
The vines are cultivated on hillsides at an altitude between 300 and 400 meters on clay limestone and sandy soils. With a good south-east exposure our vines enjoy an exceptional amount of sunshine with more than 2800 hours of sun per year. It is the interaction between this terroir and this outstanding climate that enables us to create fine and aromatic wines.
Vine cultivation
The vineyard was bought in 2013 and has been since conducted according to the principles of sustainable farming: mechanical weeding, limited treatments, voluntary limitation of yields, short pruning, de-budding ad green harvesting if necessary.
